To prioritize energy security, we need to rapidly transition to green energy sources. At COP28, RMI is hosting a panel on the value of renewable hydrogen exports in promoting global energy security. Featuring Green Hydrogen Catapult member CEOs and policymakers from Europe and Southeast Asia, the discussion will span topics from the need for expanded public support to the unique opportunity that green hydrogen presents to match supplies in regions with ideal renewables capacity to end users in resource-constrained areas: a “win-win” situation with great potential to decarbonize heavy industry.
